IMC automation components are integrated with the Texas flatbed printer and Kongsberg finishing table to create the fully automated print to cut production workflow. A seamless print to cut and stack workflow which starts with unprinted boards and ends with the finished pieces stacked on a palette, removing most of the user interaction usually required to produce final products enabling users to enhance both speed and capabilities.
Texas Inline Print-Cut-Automate-Sell
Canon Solutions America, Inc. offers the Straight-line Print to Cut Configuration
The Texas prints material that is then stored in the accumulator tray and is monitored by the board detection sensor. The integrated vector 3200 feeder picks up the material from the accumulator tray using suction cups and feeds it to the Kongsberg C64 cutter. After cutting is complete, the iMS60 Cutter Stacker unloads the finished product from the Kongsberg C64 cutter to a pallet. Some benefits include:
- Increased productivity by eliminating the number of touches required to produce the final product
- Hands-free material handling
- Reduce workforce by improving workflow
- Pallet of raw material in / pallet of printed and cut product out
- Reduce waste due to manually handling large boards
- Saves valuable floorspace by providing smallest footprint for printing and cutting production
- No need to wait if the printer is faster than the cutter
