The LX-P5510 printer is designed to print vibrant, high-quality, long lasting labels on-demand. With high-performance pigment inks that are formulated to withstand water, abrasion, harsh chemicals, and UV or sunlight exposure, the LX-P5510 printer can be used in a variety of sectors and applications. From transportation and warehousing (shipping and inventory), to manufacturing (food & beverage, chemical), retail (pharmacy, grocery), agriculture (crop production), and wholesale general packaging and labels, the LX-P5510 printer can help save on storage space and costs by printing labels on-demand rather than printing large volumes in advance. Other uses for the LX-P5510 include printing items such as tickets, temporary ID tags or badges, decals, stickers, and more.
With 1200 x 1200 dpi output, the LX-P5510 printer’s pigment inks are formulated not to run, smudge or fade away when used with inkjet compatible matte or gloss media. The sharp imagery of fine details, including but not limited to small text and barcodes, are reproduced with clarity and accuracy which helps aid in capturing a customer’s attention and helps products stand out.
The LX-P5510 printer is capable of fast print speeds up to 300 mm / 11.8 inches per second. The printer can print labels on media up to four inches wide, and has an estimated output per ink cartridge set of approximately 34,000 sheets2. Additionally, on-demand, short-run printing allows for quick implementation of changes made to label graphics or text when needed.
The optional Rewinder accessory allows users to rewind printed labels output from the LX-P5510 printer for later use, and is ideal for higher-volume production label printing environments. The optional Auto Cutter is designed to automatically separate labels at your desired interval upon printout. These items are sold separately.
The LX-P5510 printer complies with both the EU RoHS and WEEE directives for the reduction of hazardous substances and waste products. In addition, on-demand label printing can assist with sustainability efforts since it helps to eliminate the overprint of excess labels that may become obsolete and need to be disposed of.
For investment protection, eCarePAK extended service plan options are available beyond the initial one-year on-site limited warranty period. An eCarePAK can help save on costs associated with post-purchase maintenance and can help maximize uptime throughout the product life.

With the Canon LX-P5510 4" Pigment-based Inkjet label printer, there is no need for pre-printed inventory labels. Utilizing a pigment-based inkjet printing system, you can quickly and easily produce affordable color labels that can help improve your organization efficiencies through visibility and identification. The pigment-based ink can offer more durability and a higher weather resistance for your color labels. These inks won't run, smudge, or fade away when used with inkjet-compatible media. Pigment inks may not be as vibrant as dye-based inks, but pigment inks produce labels that are far more durable.
Fast Performance for Increased Productivity
The LX-P5510 label printer produces high-quality labels with fast performance. When you have large multi-batch and different label jobs, you need a printer that can keep up and get the job done fast—and the LX-P5510 is ready when you are with a first label print out time of just 10 seconds. The Canon LX-P5510 4" label printer produces labels with a resolution as high as 1200 dpi, meaning labels with small barcodes, a high-information density, and even small icons can be produced clearly and are easy to read for more accurate identification and error-free scans. The LX-P5510 also has an optional auto cutter that allows a label to be cut at set intervals, and an optional rewinder that is a quick, easy way to wind-up labels into a roll.
Less Waste with Increased Security
Inkjet label printers are simply more efficient than thermal ribbon printers by how they use ink. Regardless of the size and design of the label, thermal ribbon printing consumes the ribbon even if sections aren't used or printed on. Because Inkjet label printers only use the necessary ink for each size label and design, it is more economical and reduces waste. Not only is this more efficient, it allows for faster print speeds and increased productivity.

CANON LX-SERIES LABEL PRINTER LIMITED WARRANTY
The limited warranty set forth below is given by Canon U.S.A., Inc. ("Canon") with respect to the Canon LX-D5500/LX-D5510/LX-P1300/LX-D1300 Inkjet Label Printer packaged with this limited warranty and Canon branded accessories and options designed for use with the Canon LX-D5500/LX-D5510/LX-P1300/LX-D1300 Inkjet Label Printer (collectively, the "Product"). Canon warrants the Product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and service for a period of one (1) year after delivery to the original purchaser (“Purchaser”) by Canon or its authorized dealer. During the relevant warranty period, Canon shall, in its sole discretion and without charge, repair or replace any defective part with a new or comparable rebuilt part or replace the Product with a new or rebuilt Product. Warranty replacement shall not extend the warranty period of the defective Product. This warranty does not cover consumable parts or consumables, such as paper and ink cartridges, as to which there shall be no warranty or replacement.
For remote diagnostic assistance for operation and support of the Product, call:
- Your local Service Provider; or
- 1-855-852-2666, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET (excluding Canon holidays).
You must cooperate with Canon in remotely diagnosing the Product’s malfunction. Canon may attempt to correct the malfunction remotely, with your assistance. If Canon cannot fix your Product’s malfunction through remote diagnostics, Canon shall schedule an on-site service call by an independent authorized Canon Service Provider (the "Service Provider") or Canon will send you a replacement part for any defective user replaceable item. You will be charged at the then-current service call rates of Canon or the Service Provider if the defects in the Product are not covered by this limited warranty, or if the applicable warranty period for the Product has expired or warranty coverage has not been sufficiently established by appropriate documentation.
This warranty shall only apply if this Product is used in conjunction with compatible computers, peripheral equipment and software, as to which items Canon shall have no responsibility. NON-CANON BRAND COMPUTERS, PERIPHERAL EQUIPMENT, ACCESSORIES AND SOFTWARE WHICH MAY BE DISTRIBUTED WITH THE PRODUCT ARE SOLD AS IS, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND BY CANON, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED
WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. The sole warranty, if any, with respect to any non-Canon brand item is given by the manufacturer or producer thereof.
THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, RELATING TO THE USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE PRODUCT. THIS WARRANTY SHALL BE VOID AND OF NO FORCE AND EFFECT IF THE PRODUCT IS DAMAGED AS A RESULT OF (A) ABUSE, NEGLECT, MISHANDLING, ALTERATION, ELECTRIC CURRENT FLUCTUATION OR ACCIDENT, (B) IMPROPER USE, INCLUDING FAILURE TO FOLLOW OPERATING OR MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS IN, OR ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS PRESCRIBED IN, CANON’S USER'S GUIDE OR OTHER DOCUMENTATION FOR THE PRODUCT, (C) REPAIR BY OTHER THAN SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES QUALIFIED BY CANON WHO ARE ACTING IN ACCORDANCE WITH CANON’S SERVICE BULLETINS (D) USE OF SUPPLIES OR PARTS (OTHER THAN THOSE DISTRIBUTED BY CANON), INCLUDING NON-CANON INK CARTRIDGES OR REFILLED INK CARTRIDGES, WHICH DAMAGE THE PRODUCT OR CAUSE ABNORMALLY FREQUENT SERVICE CALLS OR SERVICE PROBLEMS OR (E) USE OF THE PRODUCT WITH NON-COMPATIBLE COMPUTERS, PERIPHERAL EQUIPMENT OR SOFTWARE, INCLUDING THE USE OF THE PRODUCT IN ANY SYSTEM CONFIGURATION NOT RECOMMENDED IN ANY USER'S GUIDE OR OTHER DOCUMENTATION FOR THE PRODUCT. NOR DOES THIS WARRANTY EXTEND TO ANY PRODUCT ON WHICH THE ORIGINAL IDENTIFICATION MARKS OR SERIAL NUMBERS HAVE BEEN DEFACED, REMOVED, OR ALTERED.
ANY SYSTEM SOFTWARE (WHETHER FACTORY LOADED ON THE PRODUCT OR CONTAINED ON THE SOFTWARE MEDIA ENCLOSED WITH, OR ACCOMPANYING, THE PRODUCT), AND ANY UTILITY SOFTWARE, DISTRIBUTED WITH OR FOR THE PRODUCT, IS SOLD “AS IS” AND WITHOUT WARRANTY BY CANON. THE SOLE WARRANTY WITH RESPECT TO SUCH SOFTWARE IS CONTAINED IN THE SOFTWARE MANUFACTURER'S LICENSE AGREEMENT DISTRIBUTED THEREWITH, INCLUDING ANY LIMITATIONS AND DISCLAIMERS THEREON. PLEASE CONTACT CANON IMMEDIATELY IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED A COPY OF THE SOFTWARE MANUFACTURER'S LICENSE AGREEMENT.
NEITHER CANON NOR ANY SERVICE PROVIDER SHALL BE LIABLE FOR PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE (UNLESS CAUSED SOLELY AND DIRECTLY BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF CANON OR ANY SERVICE PROVIDER), LOSS OF REVENUE OR PROFIT, FAILURE T0 REALIZE SAVINGS OR OTHER BENEFITS, LOSS OR CORRUPTION OF DATA INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DATA STORED ON THE PRODUCT'S HARD DISK DRIVE, EXPENDITURES FOR SUBSTITUTE EQUIPMENT OR SERVICES, LOSS OR CORRUPTION OF DATA, STORAGE CHARGES OR OTHER SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES CAUSED BY THE USE, MISUSE OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT, REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY ON WHICH THE CLAIM IS BASED AND EVEN IF CANON OR ANY SERVICE PROVIDER HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. NOR SHALL RECOVERY OF ANY KIND AGAINST CANON OR ANY SERVICE PROVIDER BE GREATER IN AMOUNT THAN THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT CAUSING THE ALLEGED DAMAGE.
