The large format UV printing market is continually growing with increasing print volumes but also lower turnaround times and a steadily shrinking workforce that's skilled in large format digital print production. This perfect storm creates a perfect opportunity for print providers to see exceptional value in the Texas LT/X2 series UV flatbed printers by DigiTech.
The Texas UV flatbed printer series addresses this head on with a highly productive, stationary flatbed that is capable of over 3,000 Ft2/hour (greater than 60 boards/hour) of high quality print. The printer can run semi-automated using the auto-unloader feature that can lift the printed board off the table and drop it onto either a pallet, or more importantly, onto a conveyor system feeding a Colex digital finishing system. Now with just one operator, boards can be loaded on the printer and the finished product quickly and efficiently comes off the Colex ready to be packaged and shipped.
Built Smart for Production Environments
DigiTech set out to develop and manufacture a complete print system to be durable and reliable, but also incredibly accurate. The result is the TruFire Precision Print System (PPS) by DigiTech that encompasses a range of design refinements that deliver exceptional dot placement accuracy, reliability and productivity and offers “print on demand” capability all day with minimal maintenance.
- Durable and extremely flat machined vacuum table designed to provide one of the highest flatness specifications in the industry.
- Linear drive systems and embedded encoders on carriage and bridge for maintenance free, precision movement
- X axis accurate across the bridge to 1 micron, Y axis is accurate to 1 micron on both sides of the gantry.
- TruFire PPS is an interactive user interface to give the operator complete control.
- Software aided print head alignment process for easy, accurate alignment.
